Groove In The Grove
Groove in the Grove, hosted by Hillside Performing Arts and DJ Stylah, was a vibrant intergenerational celebration of community, culture, and music.
The event welcomed the Peperpot members, creating a warm family atmosphere that connected generations. Guests enjoyed inspiring spoken word from Kamitan Arts, soulful performances by Princess Aisha, Nina Lee, and Dior, and electrifying sets from DJ Amore, DJ Jamo Beatz, DJ Stylah, and DJ Pink Haze — who proudly took to the stage after first joining as a workshop attendee.
Community workshops gave space for learning, creativity, and growth, proving the impact of nurturing talent and offering new opportunities.
Caribbean cuisine from Portobello Shack brought authentic flavours to the night, while the Dream Experience photo booth captured memories that will last long after the music ended. Groove in the Grove was a powerful reminder of how arts can unite people of all ages, celebrate culture, and inspire the next generation.
